Scope of the Journal

Analytical Science and Technology is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes high-quality research across various fields of science and technology. The journal welcomes original research, reviews, and technical notes related to the following areas:

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

1. Manuscript Types

Authors are encouraged to submit one of the following manuscript types:

  • Original Research Articles: Comprehensive studies with complete data analysis and interpretation.
  • Review Articles: Summarized and critical analysis of recent research topics.
  • Technical Notes: Short reports on methodological advances or significant updates in instrumentation and technology.

2. Submission Process

All submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system. Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format, accompanied by a cover letter, highlighting the novelty of the work. Submissions should include:

  • Title page (title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author details)
  • Abstract (maximum 250 words)
  • Keywords (3-6 keywords relevant to the study)
  • Main text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
  • References (formatted according to the journal’s reference style)
  • Figures and Tables (should be included at the end of the manuscript or submitted as separate files)

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout the manuscript.
  • Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Figures and Tables: Should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text in order of appearance. High-resolution images are preferred.
  • References: Follow the APA or Vancouver style. Ensure proper citations for all data, images, and information used.

4. Article Length

  • Research Articles: Maximum 6,000 words excluding references and appendices.
  • Review Articles: Up to 8,000 words.
  • Technical Notes: 1,500–3,000 words.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Plagiarism: All submissions are checked for plagiarism. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized material will be rejected.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the time of submission.
  • Human and Animal Rights: For studies involving human subjects or animals, authors must confirm compliance with ethical standards and provide relevant ethical approval documents.

6. Peer Review Process

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process. Authors are advised to remove all personal information from the manuscript to ensure anonymity. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, and the editorial team’s decision will be communicated within 6-8 weeks.

7. Revision and Resubmission

In case of major or minor revisions, authors are required to submit the revised manuscript within 30 days of receiving the review feedback. Authors should include a detailed response letter addressing all comments raised by the reviewers.

8. Post-Publication Policy

Once published, authors can promote their articles via academic platforms and social media. The journal supports post-publication commentary and corrections if errors are identified.
